Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Book 7)

downbeat
A very good ending to the Harry Potter novels, but the stuff in the forest was boring. Overall, I was not disappointed.

I actually liked the quest to nowhere in the middle. The quest end and the epilogue were utter trite crap. However, Neville RULES!

This was my favorite of them all. Probably because I love things to get answered.

Good, the perfect way to end the serious, and IN YOUR FACE Harry/Hermoine shippers... but it didn't go anywhere fast. But it still worked, so who cares?

lori
Great book except for the Epilogue. WTF, JK? This book would've been almost perfect had it not been for that. Do yourself a favor, skip the Epilogue.

telesilla
An oddly lackluster end to the series that showcases JKR's issues with female characters.

The best harry potter i've read so far ! Anyone who hasn't read the rest in the series wouldn't miss much even if he read just this one !

reading it, you feel like the series peaked with the previous two; it doesn't make it unsatisfying, just unable to reach the same lofty heights.

Too bad, the epic tale of Harry Potter is over. Can we have another sequel? Hehe.

pzr
Curious that having read all seven Harry Potter books, I've no interest at all in reading them again.

krysjez
A bit draggy, but at least it concluded the series.

I loved it of course, being an HP nerd. I do wish that JKR had expanded on the epilogue. It would have been nice to read more instead of see it in the blogs.

Who doesn't love Harry Potter? If you don't you should be living on Mars. I mean GEEZZZ. This one is the second best in the series!

Harry and his friends are on the run making this book suspenseful and intriguing. Epilogue is a pleasant full circle as the next era of students go to Hogwart's.

Clive
A bit of a disappointment. The author kills off characters for no reason, and the Epilogue was a badly written disappointment. It should have been better.

The end of an addiction, er, i mean epic story :) It's like the last day of summer vacation, I enjoyed every minute of it but am sad to see it go.
