Tony Bourdain is my living hero. This man shows us the world from a perspective so few of us could ever attain. Definite spank material for foodites.

Even though Anthony Bourdain might not be the BEST chef in the world, he's definitely the best chef writer in the world.

Blind_Zen_Archer
The original "tell all" about professional cooking. Dirty, funny, scary, and pretty damn obscene.

rommy
Good, not great. Highly entertaining. Funny at points. A bit outrageous to the point of ridiculousness. Although self-deprecating, he comes off as an egomaniac.

Bourdain is a better writer than a cook. This entertaining memoir will make you never want to eat out again especially at Tony's Restauarant Les Halles in NYC.

I used to dream of not starting my own restaurant. I still don't. Bourdain has certainly impacted the way I dine though.

I read this on a plane to Europe and didn't notice the passage of time. This book had me in a trance.

Bourdain manages to be a likable, articulate grouch, just like on TV.

TheMysteryCow
Eye opening and interesting. Served as my first introduction to Bourdain, and his writing style and wit left me interested in reading more of his work.

Syntra
Anthony Bourdain is the coolest person ever. So a book by him is the coolest book in the world. Check out his show No Reservations on the Travel Channel!

Ironside
See the culinary world from a brand new perspective! Extremely FUN to read, Bourdain's cynical and abrasive narrative educates and entertains.
