CaptainCrunch
a new classic in the zombie genre. There are flaws, but they are outweighed by the sheer fun of recalling the 3rd world war, the War against the Zombies.

So, what if Zombies -were- real, and the world suffered a massive outbreak? A fascinating set of stories from the post-zombiepocalypse. Read the book.

bperry
A solid book that takes the oral history concept to heart, providing a social, economic and global view of a Zombie Apocalypse. Definitely worth a read or two.

Gwildar
One of my favorite books of recent memory. He tells the story in a way that makes you believe it could happen, and if it did, how we will be doomed.

tx85
Brilliant. Essentially written as short stories of a zombie epidemic but the story is woven together beautifully. Chilling and hard to put down.

It's amazing how he thought of every aspect of what would actually happen if there really was a zombie outbreak. A little weak on character development tho.

starhammer
hit or miss chapters. but when they're on, they are ON. brooks has trouble giving each character their own distinct voice but overall recommended.

The stories about what happened were nice but I skipped a lot of the survival help parts.

Poodge
If there were any other books where zombies were central to the plot, chances are, they still wouldn't be as good as this wonderful collection of tales.

This book basically convinced me to make sure I have a "zombie plan". Someday, it may have saved my life!

Luana_Arrrr
I read this to face my completely irrational fear of zombies. Brooks captured the full potential of humanity in all of the distinct voices and stories featured.

I'd have like to have seen a few of the stories expanded upon but enjoyable never the less.

aric
Took a while to get into this one, but when I did I could hardly put it down. The two Japanese stories are by far the most compelling.
