Conceptually very interesting, and CCP deserves kudos for trying something new, but once you get down to it Eve just isn't a whole lot of fun to actually play.

The setting is incredible. The entire concept is truly remarkable. Unfortunately, the barrier to entry is very high -- it's very difficult to jump in.
An engaging, sci-fi MMORPG, with more depth than any other game in the genre. While other games (and MMOs) may take a few weeks to complete, EVE is endless.
I desperately want to love this game, but it cannot hook me. It never feels personal or present enough for my taste, just cold and distant.
I was never able to get into this one. It seemed very daunting to start, and the sheer scope of the gameplay was enough to keep me from digging in more.

Spaceships and kicking people's asses with the power of social engineering! Very different game mechanic from other MMOs. Friendly to casual gamers.
