It's a great 2D revival with spot-on control, but you might miss such Mario staples as flying or throwing shells skyward. The turtle shell power-up is useless.

Too easy, too short, too simple. It has all the ideas in place, but only starts to put one and one together in the very last world. Could have been much better.

The platforming is still great and the semi-3D graphics are great, but the new power-ups suck, the bosses are lame, and Bowser Jr. sucks.
