Nice premise (guy imagines realdoll to be his real gf). Doesn't make a very strong story but it's interesting to watch Lars grow up and become a realman.

This movie was amazing! I loved how it was quiet and touching, yet it had a possitive energy to it that kept it from being depressing. Sweet and so original!

Really good, original film. Didn't know whether to laugh or cry at parts. Lacks Raptor attacks in parts though, just when you expect one.

This movie is a real rollercoaster ride. One moment you laugh one moment you're sad and at some parts your just plain out weirded by it. Thats why it is so good.

Very weird, but good. At times it seemed like it was supposed to be funny, but then it would switch back to serious. Basically, just weird.

Forget their description. This is a film about how far people will go to care for someone who is hurting. I wept while the audience laughed. Which will you do?

I'm fascinated that you loved this movie, LL. I happen to think Ryan Gosling is one of the most promising actors around and this was on my radar, but now it's in my queue! Thanks for the recommendation.

It's the counselor side of me that really connected with this story. I could see what was happening with Ryan's character while others were focusing on the distraction of the doll.
