I hate Brad Pitt's laugh. Casey Affleck is a creep. The voiceover narration is kinda annoying, like it's storytime in grade school.

Superbly acted by Brad Pitt, Casey Affleck & Everyone Involved -- the last two thirds of the film is a Masterpiece, hindered by a lacklustre first third.

A beautifully shot film that lacks the structure of a meaningful story. Worth watching though if you can catch it in HD - visually stunning.

A beautiful and strong ballad. A subtle portrayal of disillusionment, despair and resignation in the minds of the controversial hero and his immature fan.

The photography and soundtrack are very good, the acting is outstanding but a better editor could have cut a good 20, perhaps 40 minutes.

Perty pictures and a wonderful score highlight a great movie. It drags just a bit and I felt there was a little too much narration. Minor quibbles.

Beautiful film. I guess how some might see it as boring, but I loved it. Pitt and Affleck are fantastic, but it's the cinematography that really shines.

Liked it but something was missing and i can't really put my finger on it. Casey Affleck was great as usual but didn't like Pitt in it. 3:10 to Yuma is better.

160 minutes of anticlimaxes. The film itself feels longer than its title is.

A gorgeous, tragic film with one of the most pathetic characters ever put on screen. While the narration is terrible, the cinematography and story shine.

Almost well done, but in the end, forgettable.

Salter
A lot of horizon staring and philosophising, punctuated by a handful of so-so action sequences. It is however, masterfully filmed.
