Seriously under-rated. The ever reliable Darabont directs a decent Stephen King yarn. An omni-present sense of peril punctuated by episodes of action and gore.

It definitely depicts the terrors of fear and what it can drive mankind to do. Disappointingly though, the performances aren't as solid as they could've been.
