The first movie in a fantastic trilogy. The acting, directing, producing, all amazing.
Enjoyable sci-fi flick with a credible storyline and good cast.
one of my favorites since 8th grade... the staying power and plot intricacys to be a must see for years to come.
Revolutionary. The Wachoski siblings were never able to live up to The Matrix's majesty. Single-handedly exposed middle America to the concept of solipsism.
Heel tijdsgebonden maar blijft een leuke actiefilm.
Um filme legal, talvez o melhor da trilogia. Cheio de alusões a idéias metafísicas, ele não vai muito além e fica mesmo como um filme de ação muito bem f.
The sequels were unnecessary; the original stands on its own as a self-contained cyberpunk sci-fi classic.
keanu reeves and laurence fishburne was great so the movie was great.
Who doesn't love this movie?! Of course something like this cannot happen, but if it could, I'll bet this is exactly what it'd be like.

What makes you think that it couldn't happen? Or even, that it ISN'T happening right now? The key idea behind solipsist theory is that since our senses, as our only means of perceiving the outside world, can be duped, we are never in the position to make such an assertion.

The first one was good, but all the rest of them, especially the last one were stupid.
Life affords no higher pleasure than that of surmounting difficulties,
So what if the world were wrong and not just you? Good news! Humanity's enslaved by evil machines of our own making so pretty much it is. Bad sequels.
Great movie. I loved all the action, and I think Reeves is a great actor. And Fishbourne did a really good job with his character.
In the summer of 1999 Keanu Reeves apologized for Johnny Mnemonic. We accepted.
the special effects sucked. story was dumb. this movie sucked a donkeys balls.
