too upbeat for my taste, and the music wasn't that great either. I have to say I loved Travolta's role, two thumbs up for him.

it was very good. a good storyline!

I loved the overall new style of it and how it felt fresh, but I do miss some of the more important elements that was only in the original.

I like the original & feared I'd hate this. I loved it! The music is great, lots of cameos from the original. Better than I could have imagined.

A perfect modern Hollywood musical. It has a cult history, cute cast, hilarious cameos, great songs and choreography, and still tells an important message.

I thought I would find it annoying, but all the songs are so catchy. Plus it has a good message, and Trevolta is a hilarious woman.

Watched the first 30 minutes, then turned it off. No.

I didn't like this at all the first time I saw it...But it's WAY funnier when viewed with a certain Jonathan Cottrell...

Enjoyable, even if only for John Travolta as the 400 lb. woman in a dress dancing and singing to Christopher Walken...priceless.

Great music. Refreshing comedy - very little course humor. Awesome cast, great plot. Wonderful family movie minus a few sexual inuindos.

I laughed harder than I have in a very, very long time. Wonderfully recommended.

Fantastic movie! I can never look at John Travolta in the same way again. :)

John Travolta in drag + a John Waters remake + hilarious musical numbers = comedy gold.
