It had some good moments but could have been much better. Maybe I should have been stoned... (Watched in HD)
Wacky West for sure, drugs the lot! Enjoyed it, it's really funny!
I really enjoyed the dumb humour in this film. Some real action moments combined with the daftest characters make this a really fun film!
Disappointingly shallow when considering Apatow and company's previous efforts. Boring and entirely devoid of humor.
I laughed HARD at this all the way through. Stoner comedy at it's best. I'll watch it again and again.
rogen is, as always, completely unlikable but franco absolutely kills it. occasionally gory and intermittently funny with moments of true greatness.
Visually the best of Apatow-dom,though lighter on laughs. Violence is unusually unsettling.

snuck into tropic thunderafter this 1,100 times funnier with violencegore and action done right and smoothly mixed in, something this movied.
I thought it was funny, creative and kinda sweet. Well acted and totally offbeat. I highly recommend seeing it.
This is one of those that takes a few viewings to really appreciate. Red is my favorite person in this movie. The story is wicked funny.
If I could only watch one movie over and over again for the rest of my life, this would be the movie no doubt. BEST MOVIE OF 2008!

Either overrated, or just not my type of flick. Had a few funny moments, but more of a rental than anything else.
Unusual tone: from zany funny to brutally violent. Did make me laugh many times. Seth Rogen and James Franco are very good. David Gordon Green made this?
