I wasn't expecting to love Angel; but admittedly, they had me, when Angel asks vampire who says he can do anything, if he could fly.

I really enjoyed the Angel series although the later seasons got somewhat ridiculous. Slightly more serious than Buffy but still somewhat on the corny side.
