The Godfather, Part II

Tão bom quanto o primeiro. O modo como as duas histórias são contadas em paralelo é muito legal.

It's amazing how both storylines are equally effective, but are so different. One tale about growth & love, another about destruction & absolute power.

Possibly better than part 1. Direction and scope of the story is amazing. Truly a masterful work, and one of the best examples of modern cinema.

Yeah, The Godfather is great. But the sequel is even stronger with the split narrative. The story is dense and and somewhat long, but your interest never flags.

Better than the first, the scenes with De Niro really stand out as the best in the movie.

Pretty much the same review as the first one, except this is slightly slower.

Amazingly acted and intelligently sequenced: keeps you begging for more after three hours; that's difficult in a film as complex as this. Among the best ever.

You know the argument: this is the only sequel better than the original. While I wouldn't say it's the only sequel better, I don't disagree that it's better.
