This is just one of those formulaic three-act films you can't help but love. It's a pure slice of Americana and will have you cheering the whole way through.

I love happy, underdog-comes-from-behind-to-win-the-gold flicks like this. Feel-good movie, almost on a Rudy or Chariots of Fire kind of level. I even cried.

A really moving story about a horse, about a boy, about the nation. And on top happening in between wars (my favourite time)! MUST SEE for everyone!!!

This movie was too long for me, I did not care for the story arch, and thought some of the performances by the actor's to be cliched. Saw it in the theater.
