Dirty Rotten Scoundrels

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels

One's got a sophisticated, suave and debonair con act. The other's got...well, an act. Together, Steve Martin and Michael Caine are Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, and they're absolutely ruining the Riviera in this "hilarious battle of wits and double-crosses" (Boxoffice) that "couldn't be more delightful" (The Wall Street Journal)! Not my favorite Steve Martin or Michael Caine, but fun enough.

Personal favorite, and it never gets old. Lots of Ruprecht the Monkey Boy jokes to be had. Frank Oz is a genius.

This is actually a very funny film. The end is somewhat convoluted, but by the end, you really don't care, thoroughly entertaining. Great comedic performances.

This is one of those films I adore. I love the whole con-man genre, and Martin's performance in this is so amusing. I also love the cons getting conned.

As Steve Martin and Michael Caine team up to con the richest women visiting the French Riviera, they get played in their own game. A great movie!

Funny, funny, funny. But of course, it's Steve Martin, so...

Hardman
Directed by Frank Oz, of Muppets and Yoda fame, very funny performances from Caine and Martin. Dark humor.

A classic tale of greed, lies, and hilarity. Tell me of a better scene than Steve Martin asking if he may be excused to use the restroom.

One of the few true proven moments of genius in Steve Martin's career. Michael Caine serves as the perfect counterpoint. Always a great weekend watch.
