I admire Gondry for not tailoring his films to Hollywood formulas. That would've resulted in a much larger string of sweded clips, which was not the point.

It was a good movie and I liked a lot of it. Although I think the story could have used a little bit more speed in the second half of the movie.
Gondry at his best. Thought the end is a bit cheesy, Black and Def are really great together.
Mos Def and Jack Black should be reason enough to see it. The Best movie that has Magnetic Pee.
This one is a bit boring for a Jack Black movie, very slow in the start which made me stop it a hundred times before I actually just sat and watched it.
Although not as funny as I had hoped, it did have the feel good quality that I very much enjoy.
We tried really hard, but we can't tell you what your friends think without knowing who you are first.
