The Thomas Crown Affair

"Nice slick movie about a super rich man who steals art as a hobby. Good plot and good chemistry between characters." – tobiasverhoog

Road House

"In the annals of the unintentionally hilarious, head, shoulders and hair above Seagal. I'm sure some of Elliott's dialogue can only be picked up by elephants." – #owenjroberts

The Spanish Prisoner

"It's like a 50's noir movie, where you can sense everything falling apart and you're never quite sure whats going on. Amazing dialogue, and keeps you guessing." – Salter

Buffalo '66

"The genius of this film is that although it's almost impossible to sympathise with Gallo's character, it still manages to be quite warm and enjoyable." – Salter

Anatomy of a Murder

"A fascinating movie, stuffed full of real characters and the sorts of moral ambiguity that is real life. Well worth the time." – JackAz

Well paced like McTiernan's work on Predator and Die Hard, but obviously not as messy. The overall slickness warrants multiple viewings. Best use of Sinnerman.

Swayze gets buffed up and beats on the rednecks in a run down bar. He uses his spare time to philosophise, do yoga and bed blonde 80's hotties.

I loved the chemistry between the characters in this. I must admit I have a weakness for the Thief's Tale and this is a good version of that.

"Pain don't hurt." When Dalton says it, I believe him.

Open neck white shirts tucked into tight jeans? A hot doctor who will it do it on the roof? Shotgun ending? What's not to love? Sam is a greasy god.

Ridiculous dialogue, vapid 80's characters, and hot Sam Elliot. Truly a work of art.

I love movies where you have no idea what's going on. This is a great one.

Very good con game movie. Very film noir ish, without actually being film noir. Big twists at the end. Fun to watch the first time.

Kind of a quirky, awkward movie with a main character you like but are not sure why. Some dark comedy as well but all this make it an interesting watch.

You'll laugh. But then you won't be sure if you should be laughing. And then you'll realize, laughing isn't even the point.

A decent, shiny, entertaining caper, even if isn't nearly as good as the original.

Both versions of this story are phenomenal. Pierce Brosnan perfectly nails his part, and Renee Russo makes a convincing foil. Tremendous story.
