"Like a rehearsal for 'Dookie', this shows a small punk band about to explode and create something good. This is in itself a terrific little album, full of gems." – raulsantosdelacamara

"Dookie style was an artistic cul-de-sac for these boys, and it shows here. Apart from tired pop-punk songs, some others point in the direction GD followed later" – raulsantosdelacamara

It is still hard to believe that the same guys did the classic "Dookie" album.

eventhough i do not like punk, and the green day is not so bad.

The album that everyone cites as their "one punk album" when in fact it's nothing more than a pop album. Britney Spears is on the same level as this.

The best album that i have owned in a really long time.

Terrible. Green day's last album of worth was Insomniac. Everything since then has been radio friendly crap.

I really only like Boulevard of Broken Dreams. It's the best song they've ever recorded IMO.

I think I listened to this album for two straight months when I got it. A fantastic, modern-day punk album with a cohesive story and amazing lyrics.

fun album that I always come back to.

Pop-punk defined, a glorious mix of punk, grunge-ish lyrical images and melody. Focused, flawlessly paced, makes you forget about how simple it really is.

Finally, a punk-rock opera! Expanding their palette in long, multi-part songs works greatly for GD. From this album on they're artists, not just punk rockers!

An album that tells a story with recurring characters embedded into songs that I can't get enough of. Rocking music that reminds us the album is still valid.
