I really liked his style of humour. It was a bit hard going at some points, but still a very good book.

The most interesting thing for me was the babelfish and the poetry. Clearly I am a freaky alien. Couldn't even finish it. Tried twice.

Hilarious satire of Earth's history and society. Creative, witty, nutty, and extraordinarily entertaining.

H2G2 made Douglas Adams one of the Gods of Sci-Fi... this 'trilogy" is absurdly gratifying.

Easily the funniest book ever written. I have never laughed that much with a book in my hand.

Brilliantly funny and a classic in the genre. Adams had a gift for dialog and characters. This book (& the radio sereis) has been a constant friend.

This is the book that I reread when I want a guaranteed laugh. Just open to any random page and there is something absolutely hilarious there.

It is very very witty. But witty is not always funny.

There's a new joke to find every time that you read it. Laugh-out-loud moments fill the book from cover-to-cover.

Great humor/satire book, which doesn't take itself too seriously, and will make you laugh out loud while reading. Good stuff.
