I really liked his style of humour. It was a bit hard going at some points, but still a very good book.

"I love the sense of humor in this book. It's also necessary nerd lit." – moneypenny
The Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
"A light, twisted read for anyone with a love of sci-fi and a need to escape reality." – bookcase
So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish
"and the dolphins?!?!" – noone

The Restaurant at the End of the Universe
"Great fun. If you liked the others you'll like this. One of the funniest." – batmanz
Life, the Universe and Everything
"Douglas Adams has done it Again!" – TheBlgwrer
The Salmon of Doubt: Hitchhiking the Galaxy One Last Time
"If you're sad that there'll never be any more Dirk Gentley or HH books, this is for you. Has lots of DNA's writing and exerpts from interviews. He was unique :(" – no-genius
Long Dark Tea Time of the Soul
"Hilarious book. The concept is "what if every deity we've ever imagined were real" and the frustration of no pizza delivery in London. Features Dirk Gently." – unmuse
Pretty darn funny. I don't remember it all that well, but I do remember liking it.
H2G2 made Douglas Adams one of the Gods of Sci-Fi... this 'trilogy" is absurdly gratifying.
