Maybe I just don't get it. High School doesn't have a warm sport in my heart. If I sympathized with the story's misadventures, then it would probably rate well.

I thought every single person that wasn't Steve Carrell was freaking perfect in this. It's hard to "love" a film when you just want to see the main part die.

If you like rules in your fiction, let this be the last of Douglas Adam's Hitch-hiker trilogy you read. I gave up three times due to the sheer insanity.

Some of the best character-side development Pixar has done. This is a great story that just happens to meet the "Children's Fable" standard. Works wonderfully.
