JoyrexJ9

blips

Superb, a rich detailed world; masses of stuff to do and explore. And you get a dog too. Play it.

One good & memorable track (the first) the rest is fairly forgettable and some meh remixes.

Tom set out to make the fastest & most mental drum 'n bass he could. He succeeded. Mindmelting from start to finish.

A return to the jazzy fusion sound of Music is Rotted... with added rock. It's pains me to say it but it's simply not very good. A real let down! :(

EP, worth it for Tundra 4 - an epic goosebump inducing reworking of Tundra from FMWT which sounds like J.S Bach playing drum n bass in a Cathedral. GENIUS!

Lot of old DnB tracks and stuff from pre-Warp EPs, plus a couple of new tracks. Tom is finding his feet but his musical genius still shines through.

Feels like the left over bits from "Music is Rotted One Note" but the first track "Iambic 5 Poetry" is probably the most beautiful thing he's ever done.

By far his weakest work - only the title track is worth your time and the strange Joy Division cover.

If this album had only one track "Tetra-Sync" it would probably be the greatest album of all time. Every track on this album falls under it's epic shadow.

A proper return to form after the ups & down of his last two albums, worth it alone for "Welcome to Europe"

Tom goes all 2-step garage for a while, turns the entire genre inside out exploding it like a hyper detailed, musical fractal. Mind blowing.

Overlooked Squarepusher album, lots of squidgy acid and an old school feel to it all. Probably one of my faves, Dedicated Loop is to die for.

Different from other Squarepusher albums - mostly experimental jazz fusion, when it works it's great, but overall he's done better.

Tom's first album and it's still a classic, Tundra & Theme from Ernest Borgnine are all time greats. Jazzy, dark, sparse, dense it's got it all. Amazing stuff!

Amazing, wasn't sure when I started watching, by the end I was enthralled. Beautifully shot, each scene is a work of art, The beach scene is incredible.

Gorgeous, fast, silky smooth, masses of fun. Everything we could have hoped for in a next gen WipEout. And only 12 quid!!! Buy it so they make more!!!

Repetitive and lacking depth and variety, but oh so very, very pretty. Could have been amazing but falls short in the gameplay front. Interested in a sequel.

Surprisingly good, I had very low expectations but I'm really impressed, the bio-mechanical setting is very detailed, and the Indian twist makes a nice change.

Puzzles which basically say "f*** you I'm a really clever game and you'll never understand me". Pretentious twaddle to the end & not much fun to play.

2D fighters never got any more mental than this!

Loved this as a kid.

Obscure remake of an obscure PS2/Saturn game in an obscure genre. It's a bit bland and sparse looking. Plays like a very simple rougelike. Very odd storyline.

Metallica when they were good... Seems like so long ago. Oh it was.

Set the way for so many games, the fixed perspective, the inventory system was years ahead of it's time. A real classic - even if it is stupidly hard!

Love it too much. So much to do and explore and find and kill and and and... The myriad of choice can baffle and confuse but the ambition here is to be applaude.

One of my gaming regrets is putting this down before I completed it. Probably the best Cthulhu/Lovecraft game, despite being not actually based on Lovecraft!

Classic old school FPS, timeless.

Not really a sequel more of an expansion pack, but still an all time classic.

Good but overrated.
