The real stories behind Freaks and Geeks are even more hilarious and painful than the show. Paul Feig is a genius.

One word: Portal. The rest of the stuff is great too. You can’t get more for your gaming dollar than this.

I am hopelessly addicted to this game. Some folks are reporting problems with the 360 version but I haven’t had any. Rockstar says they’re releasing a patch.

If you’re a fan of the show, you’ll love the book. Hilarious. Lots of amusing illustrations and sidebars as well.

Good action flick, especially once you know the story behind how this film was made. I highly recommend reading Rodriguez’s book, Rebel Without a Crew.

Lacked some of the humor of previous Anderson movies but I enjoyed it quite a bit nonetheless.

Another of my faves of 2007. Bardem was just amazing, but big props to Josh Brolin as well. I think he had a breakout year between this and American Gangster.

Kept me on the edge of my seat. I don’t understand why people weren’t expecting the shaky cam. Based on the trailer, what were they expecting?

Kick ass action film. Plain and simple. If you can ever call an action flick beautiful, I’d say this is the one.

Beautiful film. I guess how some might see it as boring, but I loved it. Pitt and Affleck are fantastic, but it’s the cinematography that really shines.

Probably one of my favorite books. Definitely the one I’ve read the most. The effort Tolkien put into this work is astounding.

I thought it was great. The epilogue was a little overdone but I think it was pretty much necessary.

The music is great and the distribution idea behind it is even better. 36 tracks for 5 bucks, can’t beat that.

I really enjoy WoW, but I think I’m kind of burnt out on it. Lots of great new content though in this expansion.
