A journey from revolutionary to old guard, bohemian to bourgeois, empiricist to realist, pacifist to, not so much. A full picture of an amazing life.

I was surprised by how faithful the movie was to the book. Tense and thoughtful, McCarthy has a wonderful ear for authentic dialogue.

A modern farce in classic Ealing Comedy style. Great ensemble cast, but Alan Tudyk's accidentally stoned character is brilliant. Great opening scene.

Another awesome book barely recognizable in movie form. This great story was turned into an improbable remake of Hackers.

A glimmer of hope escapes in a cold, foreboding life. Spectacular performances from an impressive cast.

Truly excellent collection of folk songs 'Retold' by a mixture of folk, world, dub and rock artists. Exciting and fiercely topical, yet rooted in history.

Slightly disappointed by this. Had some good, quirky moments and lots of imagination, but didn't quite hold together somehow.

Fischer, a passionate sci-fi and fantasy fan in his childhood, renounces geekdom then rediscovers it at a series of conventions. Nostalgic and affectionate.

A very contemplative and yet strong album, quiet but never boring.

Very different from Gridlinked, it's even more dark, a plot based on non-gratuitous violence. Creates a great empathy for the characters, well crafted story!

The non-linear story telling might get old for some, but it worked for me. Some nice twists. DVD extras were pretty good as well.

Had the makings of a good story, but it fell flat. None of the characters are all that likable.

Interesting story, but flat characters and film school self gratification storytelling can't be saved. Even by Ellen Page.

Excellent plot and characters, with a very good pace. The only thing that could be improved would be a certain lack of texture, it should be more descriptive.

Follows three people attempting to make a change at a down time in their lives. Great characters and a touch of humor keep it from being too dark.

Dark humor, quirky characters, great performances, and moments of horrific violence, all in a gorgeous setting.

Great fun, with some brilliant jokes, particularly 2-D one. Great cameo by Stephen Hawking, but not enough Zoidberg as usual.

Formulaic genre film, but entertaining nonetheless. Interesting message on the voyeuristic nature of some internet behavior.

A silly story with improbable, over the top characters, yet infectiously entertaining.

Very funny and sweet film about being an outsider. Nostalgic but not cloying, and some great low-key jokes.
