Ease of Use
Canva is very simple to use yet delivers beautiful high-quality designs. When starting a new design, Canva takes the guesswork out of what dimensions to use by giving you a list of preset items to choose from (such as Instagram post, business card, etc.). You can also enter custom dimensions. From there, you can choose one of Canva’s existing layouts to edit, or you can start from scratch and upload your own elements. A search tool allows you to easily find desired images from Canva’s online gallery. Add photos, text, shapes and more to your design by using the drag-and-drop editor. Canva also has a built-in photo editor for your convenience. When your design is complete, share, download or order prints right from your editor screen.
Support
Canva’s “Customer Happiness Team” is available via email Monday through Friday 24 hours, and Saturday and Sunday with limited support. You can expect a response within one to four hours on the weekdays and 24 to 48 hours on the weekends. Canva does not offer phone support. You can also reach the support team with a direct message via Twitter (@canva). Canva’s online Help Center allows you to browse and search topics you might need help with. There is also a troubleshooting section that will walk you through common issues. Under the “Learn” tab on Canva’s website, there are articles and resources in different areas such as design, nonprofit, education and photography, as well as online courses and tutorials.
